Humphreys Co. Sheriffs Dept jailer apparently lets wanted men walk free by using a Judge’s name

WAVERLY, TN (WSMV) -A Tennessee judge says jail officials used her name to let inmates wanted in several states go free, and she is demanding to know how it happened.

It’s the latest flare-up involving the Humphreys County Sheriff’s Department, which is already under state and federal investigation for a police beating caught on camera.

So who authorized their outright release? A jailer named Tammy Ross signed the release form “per instructions of General Sessions Judge Haylee Bradley-Maples.”

The only problem is that Bradley-Maples said she did not okay their release. In fact, she says she was never even asked about the two men. The TBI was already in Humphreys County investigating after the Darrin Ring beating, so this just adds to the problems for the sheriff’s department.

  1. Sarah Campbell Says:

Humphreys County judicial system including all attorneys are corrupt,
Judges are part time and are a lawyer with clients the rest of the time.
Lawyers stand in front of a judge today and the next day its the other way around so how can it not be a brotherhood or ill get you next time.
When you pay a lawyer and question them about something they just quite and keep your money AND THAT’S HOW IT IS !!!
