Former Grand Junction chief of police and son arrested by TBI; son charged with breaking into police department after father charged with DUI, fired

Former Grand Junction Police Chief Pat Ryan, his son and another man were arrested recently regarding separate incidents involving property of the Grand Junction Police Department.

The former chief was arrested in Tunica, Miss., on March 1 on a charge of driving under the influence after local authorities said they saw him “weaving and driving erratically,” according to Larry Liddell, public information officer for the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.

He was driving an unmarked Grand Junction police cruiser at the time of his arrest.

Pat Ryan’s son, Patrick Ryan, and Jamie Lee Grantham, of Bolivar, were arrested March 15, after a TBI investigation determined that they were behind a burglary of the Grand Junction Police Department that happened after the chief’s suspension.|topnews|text|FRONTPAGE
