Eleven Hamilton County 911 Employees Disciplined, Two Fired
Attorney Jerry Tidwell confirms he is representing two female 911 dispatchers who have been terminated.
Hamilton County 911 District Executive Director John Stuermer said an internal investigation into “inappropriate” instant messages has been underway for six months.
11 day-shift dispatchers have been questioned about their use of the instant messaging feature on the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
Stuermer confirms some type of action has happened to all 11, but wouldn’t go into specifics. Discipline ranged from termination to three day suspensions without pay. He would not say how many suspensions were handed out.
