Mt. Juliet investigating employees after allegations

MOUNT JULIET, TN (WSMV) -Explosive accusations involving sex and cell phones have five local city workers under investigation.

For now, two of those Mt. Juliet employees are off the job. All of it stems from a complaint filed Friday, but what got them in trouble may have been going on for months.

Officially, the internal review centers on a “misuse” of city-owned cell phones and computers. It means taxpayers’ dollars may have been used for very, very personal things.

Tuesday, the city identified the five workers as James Crosslin, a city police sergeant; public works employees Shannon Joyner and Casey Binion; Crosslin’s wife Charlene Crosslin; and Amanda Graves, who work for the city’s finance department.

All five have been Mt. Juliet employees for several years.

One Response to “Mt. Juliet investigating employees after allegations”

  1. Only the tip of the iceberg in Mt Juliet. Records of phone calls made between two employees, one of which is named in the “five” texters, will reveal a lot more than just sex texts. Look back two or three years in all the “five”‘s records. We called it fraternization in the military. I do wonder why a certain cop whose wife was one of the bunch still has a job as a policeman after pointing a gun at his own head upon getting some bad news. Wouldn’t want to be pulled over by him for a traffic violation.
