Mid-South deputy accused of kidnapping and stabbing
MADISON COUNTY, TN -(WMC-TV) – A Mid-South narcotics deputy is no longer working as he is investigated in connection to a kidnapping and stabbing.
The domestic situation unfolded in two cities Wednesday morning.
Chad Lewis, a deputy with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested after investigators said he kidnapped and stabbed his ex-wife, Heather Sykes.
Lewis is accused of kidnapping is ex-wife from her home, and driving her to his home in Jackson. From there, investigators say he took her to the city’s Coca-Cola Bottling Company where he stabbed her in the chest. Next, he allegedly took her to Henderson, Tennessee, where he threw the knife out of the truck and eventually took her to the hospital.
