Deputy Suspended after Testing Positive for Drugs
Jackson, Tenn. – A Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy is off duty after failing a random drug screen.
According to Sheriff David Woolfork, Deputy Janice D. Forsyth, 48, took the test on June 20. The department was notified Tuesday that Forsyth tested positive for cocaine.
Deputy Forsyth has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
