Deputy Resigns after Failing Drug Test
Jackson, Tenn. – The Madison County Sheriff’s Deputy suspended after a positive drug test has resigned.
According to Sheriff David Woolfork, Deputy Janice D. Forsyth, 48, submitted her resignation Thursday after she was presented the “Statement of Charges” against her.
Forsyth took the random drug test on June 20. The department was notified Tuesday that Forsyth tested positive for cocaine.
