Greene Co. woman accuses sheriff’s deputy of sexual assault
A Greene County woman says a Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy sexually assaulted her last Christmas at a traffic stop.
A complaint filed in United States District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee, claims Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Morgan committed the act in December near the 107 Cutoff in Greeneville.
The plaintiff’s attorney Tony Lee said his client was pulled over because Morgan had suspected she and a male passenger were driving under the influence.
“She was separated from her male passenger,” Lee said.
According to the complaint, Morgan took the male passenger to a field and then returned to the spot where he had told the female passenger to wait for him.
Lee said Morgan then called the female passenger a prostitute, robbed her of a recent paycheck and then sexually assaulted her.
