SCSO employee arrested after fight with girlfriend
MEMPHIS, TN -(WMC-TV) – A Shelby County Sheriff’s Office employee is no longer on the clock after being arrested following a domestic dispute.
Memphis police officers were called to a home on Ballantrace Court just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
When they arrived, they learned that a woman was involved in a physical fight with her boyfriend and his daughter. She said when she tried to call police, Anthony Lee, 44, grabbed her by the neck, pushed her, and took the phone.
The woman and Lee both admit they had been drinking.
Lee was arrested and charged with domestic assault. He has worked with the SCSO for the last 20 years and is currently employed in the Fugitive Division.
He is relieved of duty with pay pending the results of an investigation.
